LionFish | So I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I want some opinions.. I have cast a chart for the day of my wedding.. Going with a Taurus Asc bc well, who wouldn't want Venus to rule their marriage... but instead of being super focused on the Sabien symbols for each degree of Taurus, I think I'm more worried about the placement of the Venus/Mars in Virgo conjunction. The Moon will be 3rd house, hopefully being conducive to being able to communicate emotions freely.. I really think I want the conjunction in the 5H. In Virgo AND the in the 6H seems a bit much to me. What's your take on it, ladies and gents? |
astra7 | Don't marry on the day Venus retro. Perhapsh you want Venus on angle like 1st or MC |
ail221 | She's probably gonna marry in end of October very beginning November that's the last Venus/Mars conjunction of 2015. Jupiter will be in around 16 Virgo which should be beneficial even as wide conjunction for a event chart. |

October 31st actually And yes, I was tickled to see Jupiter there as well when I made the chart! I figured it could only be a good thing. It will be conjunct my SO's Moon that day. Ooo and NN is direct and still in Libra on our day I'm just hesitant about the house placement.. A 5H Jupiter/Venus/Mars conjunction seems rather swell, IMO.

ail221 | A fixed asc is best for a lasting relationship and the Sun may be in the 7th house depending on the exact time the wedding.Fifth house emphasis seems like it would increase the number of children produced from this union. My only concern would be the possibility of the moon squaring all of that virgo placements. But there is no perfect event chart. |
LionFish | As it sits now, only Jupiter squares the Moon and even that is wide at about 8 degrees. The most benefic square to exist if there is such a thing lol But the Moon is also in exact trine with the Sun at the evening time I have selected. I figured that should ease some of that Moon square tension. |
ail221 | That is true even Jupiter squares can be pleasant. |
LionFish | Sometimes I wonder about my memory haha ..The moon in the chart is actually in Cancer, so no squares, well except to Uranus.. And an opposition to Pluto..but no inner planets. How important is the chart ruler vs the sun in an event chart?
The Sun (keeping a 3H Moon) can either be in the 6th or 7th house... But the idea of children and a 5H emphasis really makes me happy. My own 5H has Saturn there, and I believe my fiancé has a 5H Saturn as well.. I was kind of hoping that the influence of the marriage chart (especially with the chart ruler AND Jupiter there) might counteract a little bit of that Saturn. Idk..
